Certificate

Jain Certificate Studies Program

The Undergraduate Certificate in Jain Studies will require 15 credit hours, including a required foundation course and four elective courses. The certificate is open to both degree and non-degree seeking students. Any FIU course that has at least one-third (1/3) Jainism content may also count towards the certificate. Up to six (6) credit hours of coursework in a relevant Indic language may be applied as electives towards the certificate.

Study Abroad

Students are encouraged to earn credits through a study abroad (summer travel) program with an institute in India. Several programs are offered. Students may earn three (3) to six (6) credits for study abroad. Please inquire with the Director or with the Office of Study Abroad about international programs
